The Chalet has currently undergone many changes. Several of the rooms have been renovated and expanded. A new cement platform and walkway has also been added to this facility. A fresh coat of stain was also added to give it a rich, new look. Here are a few pictures taken of the renovation process.

May (04) was work month at SHLBC. Here are a few pictures of some of the projects that took place.

The 2003-2004 Winter has been one of the coldest we have seen at SHLBC in several years. The temperature was once reported to have dropped to 50 degrees below zero! This caused a water line located in the ceiling of the ladies restroom in the chalet to freeze and break at the end of January. There was considerable damage in the restrooms and hallway. The dining hall also flooded. The water clean-up was a 12 man-hour job! Major repairs had to take place in order to repair this damage. New walls were placed in and ceramic tile was placed on the floor. Here are some pictures of the water damage and the renovations.
